One blight on the otherwise flourishing Sunday afternoon Jams
at the Jahva House was some non/and/mal functioning keys on
their baby grand piano. Last week Fenton ( a professional piano
technician and jazz player), who has been fixing/tuning pianos
in SC county for 25 years, came in on his own, took the piano
apart and fixed the problems. He will continue to do occasional
gratis repair work to help the Jazz Society. This kind of community
spirit is very helpful and welcome.
Thanks, Fenton.
